Why Pro-Life?

March 2014.

UMSCL put on a pro-life training seminar for all those we had met over the year and who were interested in learning more about why we should be pro-life and how to best defend it. Some of the seminar participants are now executive UMSCL members! We plan on hosting another one in March of 2015.

Genocide Awareness Project

The Genocide Awareness Project is a (controversial, but effective) display that compares the victims of abortion to the victims of other genocides. It definitely caused a lot of talk on campus! Check out our NEWS page to read some of the articles/watch one of the interviews we gave!

Human Rights Museum

On September 18th and 19th, CCBR's Jonathon Van Maren trained us on pro-life strategy and apologetics, and on how to be a good pro-life ambassador. On September 20th, we took our new skills to the streets and stood outside the brand new Canadian Museum for Human Rights, protesting the exclusion of preborn rights from the exhibits.

It's a Girl

2013 Showing at UofM.

Did you know that in many parts of the world, girls are subject to abuse, torture or even death--simply because they're female? This ground-breaking documentary brings to light a terrible injustice that is often overlooked--gendercide--and compells us to be a voice for those who have had their voices taken from them.

**If you have not yet seen this documentary, it is now available on netflix!**

2014-2015 Tabling

How will we recruit new members on campus? By setting up a beautiful table, of course! A big thank you to the UMSCL members who spent a couple of hours talking to students and signing people up! Also, if you came by to say hello, we're glad we were able to meet you!
