Membership

To become a member of the University of Manitoba Students for a Culture of Life (hereafter referred to as ‘UMSCL’), you must meet the following criteria:

 

• You must be a current University of Manitoba student, in any faculty.

• You must agree that all human life is valuable and must be protected.

• You must agree in equal human rights for all humans.

• You must agree that killing a human being is never an ethical solution to any problem.

• You must agree that abortion is always wrong.

• You must agree that we have an obligation to be a voice against injustice.

• You must agree that there are absolute rights and wrongs.

 

As well, you must also fill out and submit a membership form. Once your form has been received and processed, you will receive a membership card and welcome package. Membership entitles you to the following:

 

• The right to vote in executive elections.

• The right to run for an executive position.

• The opportunity to make your thoughts known on our planned events.

• Access to our social/community events.

• Priority registration for any workshops/seminars we hold.

• You’ll be the first to know about any and all events we hold.
